Jane's Hummingbird Nectar Mix

3/4 cup hot water
1/4 cup sugar
red food coloring

Combine hot water and sugar in a quart jar. Shake to dissolve the sugar. Add a few drops red food coloring. Let cool and place in Hummingbird feeder.

Note: Nectar should be changed and feeder washed once a week. Remove feeder by Labor Day.
