Dried Beef Dip

Dried Beef Dip pairs perfectly with just about anything from fresh veggies to toasted baguette. It comes together is a matter of minutes and is perfect for last minute entertaining, a dip party, or a delicious addition to your Super Bowl spread! Or try a dollop of it on baked potatoes at dinnertime. It gets even better if it has time to hang out in the fridge for a bit, so make it the night before to save even more time!

Some recipes add a dash or two of Worcestershire sauce.

1 8-ounce package cream cheese, room temperature
1 2.5-ounce jar dried beef, chopped (also called chipped beef)
4 green onions, sliced
1/4 cup sour cream, optional (see note below)

For a less salty dip, rinse the dried beef and pat dry before using.

In a medium bowl with an electric mixer, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in dried beef and green onions until fully incorporated.

Cover and chill for at least two hours or overnight.

Serve with fresh veggies, toasted baguette, crackers, or potato chips.

Notes: If you want the consistency of the dip to be a bit thinner, you can add about 1/4 cup sour cream.
