Homemade Vanilla Vodka

Vanilla infused vodka takes a fantastic homemade Valentine present that can be enjoyed by you or your Valentine. You can also use the vanilla beans later to infuse sugar for Vanilla sugar, which make wonderful cookies.

Making homemade vanilla vodka is incredibly simple.

Take two really good vanilla beans, slice in half lengthwise (leave the stem end uncut), drop in bottle of vodka. Keep in dark cabinet and turn bottle upside down every few days. If the beans are really good, it should be less than a month before your vanilla vodka is ready.
