*Brian's Avocado & Red Leaf Lettuce Salad

This is a nice salad Brian made once to serve on the side his Chicken Roll. It has a nice creamy feel to it due to the soft lettuce and avocado. The red onion adds a little crunch.

Red leaf lettuce, washed and dried
Red onion, sliced thinly
Black olives, sliced (optional)
Avocado slices
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar

Break the lettuce into pieces in serving bowls. Top with a few slices of red sweet onion and black olives, then a layer of avocado. Serve the olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the side.

Also good made with a butterhead lettuce.
