Holmes Special

This sandwich was on Dr. Watson's Pub's menu when I waitressed there. It is similar to a Corn Beef Special but made with turkey instead and has bacon, lettuce and tomato added. It is quite good.

Sliced turkey breast
Russian dressing
Cole slaw
Bacon
Lettuce
Tomato
Rye bread

I do not remember how this was put together. My guess would be: Spread Russian dressing on one slice of bread, then layer the turkey and cole slaw on top. Next the bacon, tomato and finally lettuce. Top with the other slice of bread. Slice diagonally and serve. How you layer a sandwich is important as the flavors play off of one another.
