Thanksgiving Turkey Sandwich

Thanksgiving Turley Sandwich made on toasted sourdough bread with mayonnaise,
turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy and lettuce
FMM: I made this sandwich with toasted grocery store sourdough bread and ended up removing the bread and just eating the turkey and stuffing on its own. I think it would be better on untoasted bread, like a soft wheat bread or an Italian bread.
Sliced bread, sourdough or bread of choice
Mayonnaise
Thick turkey slices
Cranberry sauce
Stuffing, warmed a bit
Gravy (hot sandwich only)
Lettuce
Pinch of salt and pepper
This sandwich can be either hot or cold. If making a hot sandwich, the turkey, stuffing and gravy should be heated up in a pan. The cold version does not use gravy
Spread mayonnaise onto two slices of bread. Place a few thick slices of turkey on the bread. Add a little cranberry sauce, then the stuffing. Top with lettuce, add a little salt and pepper and place the other slice of bread on top.
Alternatively, if you are making a hot sandwich, you could make patties out of the stuffing and fry them in butter before placing on the sandwich.
The sandwich in the picture uses toasted sourdough bread and also adds mashed potatoes and gravy on the dressing.
