from http://www.cuisinerecipes.com/

Ditalini are small, thimble-shaped pasta, but they also come in a larger variety called ditali. Either one works great for this simple side. This recipe was posted with the recipe for Mediterranean Chicken Soup to be used as a topping on the soup.
1 lb. dry ditalini pasta
4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
2/3 cup grated Parmesan
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Salt and black pepper to taste
Cook ditalini in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package directions; drain and toss with butter, Parmesan, and parsley. Season pasta with salt and pepper.
