Baked Sweet Potatoes

Wash and scrub clean as many sweet potatoes as needed. Poke them with a cooking fork and place in a pie pan or other low baking pan. Bake in a 350° F. oven until they are soft and the juices start to caramelize, about 1 - 2 hours depending on the size of the potatoes.

Serve hot with butter on the side as you would regular baked potatoes. Leftovers are good made into Mashed Sweet Potatoes.
