Jane's Taco Salad

Taco Salad can be made in a taco shell
instead of on taco chips.
One of Jane's favorites. I remember having this at her house and eating out on her deck. It was a nice day and the food was really good.
May be made with browned ground beef flavored with a packet of Taco Seasoning Mix, or spicy hot canned beans as a vegetarian alternative . . . or use the two together. This is a simple luncheon meal for a crowd where the ingredients may be chopped ahead of time and the only preparation at the time of the meal is heating the hamburger mix and/or the beans and getting the chopped toppings out of the refrigerator. Let the guests serve themselves.
