What to Do with Leftover Stuffing?
These are some suggestions I found at Chowhound: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/576006 (modified a bit)
-
Roll stuffing into a ball, dip in egg batter, cover in panko breadcrumbs and deep-fry.
-
Form stuffing into patties and panfry them.
-
To stuffing, add cooked sausage meat along with fried peppers, onions, mushrooms, garlic or any other veggies you want. Add an egg or two to bind, make them into patties, cover in panko, and panfry. Serve with poached or fried eggs.
-
With the leftover cornbread and sausage stuffing, make a breakfast casserole for the morning after Thanksgiving. Mixed up eggs, milk, extra sharp cheddar cheese, and a little tabasco sauce, and poured over the stuffing which is spread out in a baking dish. Throw it in the oven the next morning. It is an easy and delicious breakfast the next morning!
